showslow: Conor & David, Balloon Type. The ampersand is kind of a pregnant symbol, for me. It’s the incapsulation of what I’ve seen referred to as ‘improv spirit’, the idea of saying ‘yes and’ rather than ‘no, but’. This is probably a very important thing for me to keep in mind, as I have a tendency to see why things will fail. I should probably work on training myself to think additively, rather than subtractively.
