This is how FastCompany’s pages look on my hi-res, 15 inch laptop screen.
Was this site not designed to be read? Was the expectation that a MASSIVE image taking up 2/3rds of the screen would entice me to see if there was actually an article hiding somewhere?
I’m not one of those ‘above the fold!’ zealots, I believe that people scroll.
I just also believe that people like to have some clue what the hell they just opened in their browser.
