i may delete this in the morning, but once i said it i knew it was true.

She made me want to be a better person.  And I can understand that isn’t healthy, for the desire to better yourself, to improve your humanity, to be tied to your relationship with another person.

But now I don’t have that urge at all.  It’s gone, and in the place left behind is the urge to win.  It’s not the same.
