Law is always behind technology, but copyright as it exists was created entirely for an understanding of content as bound to physical media that has a cost to produce (aka rival goods). Protect-IP is the latest example of breaking things that are good, in an attempt to make content follow physical limitations again. This has been my pet peeve since forever.
